Teaching face to face? Miss your Zoom chat? Try these digital tools to help students share written work, comments or questions in class.

Try using Canvas in your class. Have students post the results of group work in a Canvas Discussion, submit some in-class reflective writing as an Assignment, or respond to a class "exit ticket" in a Quiz. Display student work in real time with your projector. Canvas can be accessed via a computer or a mobile app on students phones - and has the benefit that many students are already familiar with it.
Google Docs is great for when you want multiple people to be able to add to, and edit, a shared document. Google Docs mobile app allows students to participate on their phones. Poll Everywhere is an app where students can use their phones or computer to respond to prompts. It offers multiple choice and open-ended question options, Q&A, word clouds, visual questions, and more. Perfect for displaying student responses, or allowing students to respond anonymously.
